ShockWave - Synth Module
1 day(s) ago
$19.99 -> $9.99
Based on 163 reviews. (163 reviews)
ShockWave is a monophonic Synthesizer designed to bring modular style workflow to the world of iOS & AUv3 plugins. Built around the concept of Phase Distortion (PD) Synthesis, Shockwave includes a pair of PD Oscillators each capable of creating everything from pure Sine Waves over smooth Sawtooth and Square Waves to Resonance & Sync sweeps, filtered Noise and more. In addition to the Synth Voice, ShockWave includes a dedicated control section housing a pair of 8 step sequencers, a sample & hold module as well modules for trigger divisions, logic comparisons and controlled randomness. A pair of Low Frequency Oscillators and 2 Attack/Sustain/Release (ASR) Envelopes serve as main modulation sources and can be used in a number of ways. Envelopes can be triggered from a number of internal sources including other modules such as trigger divider, logic or chance module but can also be connected to each other allowing for a wide range of patches usually only possible in large modular systems. LFOs are individually tempo sync-able and capable of producing total of 5 different waveforms each. The two sequencers can run independently or combine to one 16 step sequence where rate and length can be controlled independently for each of the two. In true modular nature almost any control within ShockWave can be modulated with up to 11 sources - simultaneously. Modulations are setup simply by holding a control and dialling in the desired amount in a list of all available sources. A special X-Ray mode adds a realtime display of all currently active modulations right at their corresponding control making it easy to understand what's happening inside the synthesizer at any given time. Synth Voice and Control Section are accompanied by built-in Delay and Reverb sections placed on send busses with all of their controls including the send levels being available as mod destinations. Last but not least, ShockWave features a solid MIDI implementation including support for, aftertouch, velocity, wheels, custom CC mappings and up to 4 dimensions of expression when using MPE compatible controllers, such as the Roli Seaboard, Linnstrument, Geoshred, KB-1 and others. MIDI Output is supported as well and includes Note and Control Change output generated from various internal sources including Sequencers, Envelopes and LFOs making it possible to control external MIDI gear or chain multiple plugin instances for advanced, self driving patches. Overview: - Semi Modular Monophonic Synth Voice - Phase Distortion Synthesis (PD) - Dual PD Oscillators with 5 Waveforms + Noise - Dual ASR Envelopes with variable trigger source - Dual LFO with Tempo Sync - Cross Modulation with Linear/Exp. FM, PM, AM & RM - Mixer section with individual pan and level controls per oscillator - Output VCA with variable control source - Pattern Generator for generating sequences from various internal sources - Quantizer to force note input into a specific scale (19 Scales + User Scales) - Step Sequencer with 2x8 or 1x16 steps, individual rate and number of steps per row - Trigger Divider for dividing internal trigger sources - Probability Gate for adding controlled randomness - Sample & Hold for additional randomness - Logic Module to create triggers from various internal sources - Built-in Delay & Reverb Effects - MIDI Note and CC output for controlling external gear or chaining multiple instances - Semi Modular Architecture - 11 Modulation Sources - 40 Modulation Destinations - 2 Color Themes MIDI Input: - 4D Expression (Glide, Slide, Pressure & Velocity) - Mod & Pitch-Wheel - Tempo Sync - Custom CC Control MIDI Output: - Note - Control Change Connectivity: - Standalone - AUv3 - AudioBus - IAA

Slammer - Drum Instrument
1 day(s) ago
$7.99 -> $15.99
Based on 12 reviews. (12 reviews)
Slammer is a multi-sampled drum plug-in that contains 30 different instruments made from a very large number of carefully recorded and edited samples. Integrated custom-built real-time effects combined with some clever routing makes Slammer a versatile and flexible virtual instrument that is capable of rendering anything from natural acoustic to heavily distorted and compressed drum sounds. The audio engine consists of 12 separate instrument players that are mapped to different MIDI notes. Each one of these players can be assigned to any of the 30 instruments available and also provide a large set of individual settings like pitch, filtering, effect sends, decay time, velocity mapping, and more. There’s also a global “Dirt” section for distortion and compression, a reverb and tone control. The amount of “dirt” and reverb can be set individually for each instrument as well. To top it all off, Slammer comes with a set of factory presets, covering anything from light and slick to heavy and gritty. SLAMMER FEATURES SUMMARY • 30 multi-sampled instruments (such as Bass drum, Bucket, Metal Pipe, Crowbar, Snare and several more) using more than 2000 samples. • 12 instrument player slots with settings for: - Instrument selection - Gain - Pan - Pitch - Decay - Transient - Velocity Gain Curve - Velocity Range - Low Shelf filter - High Shelf filter - Reverb Send - Clean vs Dirty (Dry/Wet) • 6 different reverbs: - Natural Room - North Lake - Moonshine - Industry Floor - Wooden Cottage - Scrap Heap Mall • Compression and Dirt section with 8 different distortion algorithms • Plenty of factory presets • Internal user preset system • Global tone control Slammer now works standalone as well as an AUv3 plug-in compatible with any AUv3 compliant host such as Garageband, AUM, Cubasis, Beatmaker 3, Auria etc.

Brusfri
1 day(s) ago
$6.99 -> $14.99
Based on 58 reviews. (58 reviews)
Brusfri* is a highly advanced audio noise reducer, packed into a simple and straight-forward interface. It is very well suited for cleaning up noisy audio recordings, while retaining sound quality. Unlike many other noise reducers on the market, Brusfri doesn't mess with audio phasing to suppress noise (a technique that often comes with audible side effects). Instead, multiple fine-tuned gates are used to silence unwanted noise. Brusfri can also be used as a AUv3 plug-in in compatible hosts, for example in GarageBand. *Brusfri means "Noise free" in Swedish. Here are some examples of sound conditions that Brusfri handles well: * Guitar amp * Noisy vintage gear * Boosted pre-amp * iPhone/iPad and external mic hiss * Room reverb removal * Fan noise * Background ambiance * Mains hum / Electric hum Usage In short, press “Learn” during a couple of seconds of isolated noise to create a "profile" for noise. This may be all you need to do. Brusfri can be used in two ways, either standalone or as a AUv3 plug-in. Standalone Import the audio, either by extracting audio from a video, by importing from iTunes, or by using the “Open In…” option in any other app that can export audio. Press and hold the Learn button (the ear) while playing unwanted noise. (It’s important that the Ear is only fed with isolated noise). When Learn is released, Brusfri will start reducing noise. AUv3 plug-in Open Brusfri in any AUv3 compatible host. Find a region in the recording that only contains noise and play it. Tap and hold the “LEARN” button for a short while (a second will be enough). When the LEARN button is released, Brusfri will start reducing noise. There are a bunch of parameters available that affect the noise reduction algorithm: ATK / THRS / REL (Attack Time / Threshold / Release Time) Threshold - basically determines how much noise to be removed. A lower value means more reduction. Attack and Release sets the time it will take for the reducer to start working. LOOKAHEAD Makes transient processing a bit smoother. EDGE Controls the reduction aggressivity. A lower value gives a smoother reduction. HPF Reduces low frequencies. HIGH Compensates high frequencies by boosting them. MIX Mixes between dry and noise reduced signal. NOTE! Brusfri is CPU intensive and iPhone 6 / iPad AIR 2 or better is recommended. When used as an AUv3 plug-in, we highly recommend freezing/bouncing tracks to reduce CPU usage.

Borsta
2 day(s) ago
$9.99 -> $19.99
Based on 8 reviews. (8 reviews)
Borsta is a virtual drum and percussion instrument. What sets Borsta apart from similar instruments is that its audio engine supports a brushing feature that can simulate strokes and brushes with continuous changes in intensity. This makes it possible to create an endless number of very lifelike brushing phrases and rhythms, something that can’t be easily achieved with ordinary sample-based instruments. The internal sequencer allows you to determine exactly when to start a stroke, how the stroke’s pressure/speed should evolve over time and when to end it. On top of that, each instrument offers a couple of multi-sampled one-shots with advanced choking capabilities. The initial version of Borsta comes with 18 different instruments, but each instance of the plug-in emulates one single drum instrument at a time. That means the sequences can only be played one at a time. However, switching between sequences can be done seamlessly via MIDI, and additional one-shot samples can be triggered using an ordinary MIDI track. Each instrument is structured and MIDI-mapped in a uniform way, which makes it possible to use the same sequence on any instrument. For instance, a traditional swing pattern will sound musically correct no matter whether you choose a Frame Drum, Tambourine or Snare Drum - it will just sound like the musician changed instruments. Each instrument is based on more than 400 high-quality samples, recorded for playing with different velocities and round robins. Features • 18 high-quality instruments with 6 multi-sampled one shots each • Continuous intensity changes on brushes and strokes • 230 pre-made factory sequences • 60 Global presets covering different sounds and genres • Separate volume and velocity curve control of each sound type • Room simulation (9 different rooms) • Reverb with adjustable decay time (6 different algorithms) • Timbre adjustment control (harmonics) • Overall pitch • Three band equalizer Instruments • Rusty Bucket • Guira • Pancake Drum • Tambourine • Frame Drum • Pizza Box • Cardboard Pipe • Cajon • Pandeiro • Bakestone • Cymbal Chains • Snare Drum 1 • Snare Drum 2 • Snare Drum 3 • LOFI Snare Drum • Metal Spade • Djembe • Iron Sticks Borsta is available as both a standalone application and AUv3 plug-in. Its primary intended use is as an AUv3 with a DAW together with other instruments and sound sources.

Drambo
5 day(s) ago
$20.99 -> $19.99*
Based on 187 reviews. (187 reviews)
Drambo is an innovative modular groovebox and audio processing environment. Modular components are used to build synthesized and sample based instruments or audio effects using high-quality DSP and audio-rate modulation. Tied to a powerful sequencer, it’s an optimal music creation tool for sound design, composition, performance and experimentation. At the heart of Drambo lies an entirely new concept that makes modular creations easy, fun and affordable. Modules are connected automatically, with no cables as you add or rearrange them. A dynamic interface creates modulation knobs when you need them. Modules may house other modules, so you can keep your patch well organized. Of course, automatic connections can be overridden. In Drambo you can focus on playing with sound and signal structure without getting lost in wires. Use a deep and innovative sequencer to compose patterns and whole tracks, for production or live performance. Go beyond simple looping sequences with parameter locking, conditional step components, parameters automation and powerful scene morphing. Drambo works equally well as a self-contained standalone app or audio unit plugin with audio and MIDI connectivity as an AUV3 instrument, audio effect and MIDI effect. No modular experience necessary to get started playing with preset sounds and effects. You can use Drambo as • A complete music production and performance environment • Endless modular playground, that allows you to build, modify and store custom instruments and effects. For instance: build a custom synth, sample and resample, build a Theremin using a gyroscope module, or turn your table into a playable surface, by processing microphone input with physical modelling modules. Get weird or make functional instruments and tools. • MIDI sequencer, that works with hardware and AUv3 instruments (e.g. Drambo sequences other instruments in an AU host app). Moreover Drambo can generate custom MIDI CC messages or modulation signals to control modular synths via DC coupled interfaces. • AUv3 synthesizer, effect or sequencer in other DAWs. Drambo can replace a lot of audio plugins. For instance: you may use it as a chorus, phaser, reverb, filter, equalizer, complex modular delay, decimator, frequency shifter, MIDI effect or complex modulator for other synths. You may combine, modulate and sequence them in no time. Features: • Polyphonic, stereo processing and audio-rate modulation. All signals are equal. Up to 8 voices per modular instrument rack. • Unique modular concept: cable-less, drag'n'drop, color coding dynamic interface, automatic connections, and customizable compact, rack views. • Directional flow makes Drambo routing and patching straightforward. Signal flows only left to right, so there are no instant feedback routings in Drambo. Delayed feedback is possible using certain modules. • Simple and clean interface, that scales to every size and device orientation • Custom modular racks that can be nested, with presets at the track, rack, and module level. • Clip launcher / song arrager. • 16-tracks, polyphonic sequencer with parameter locks, automation and step components. 8 dedicated step sequence editor types, piano-roll, powerful automation designer with drawing modes and cubic Bezier curves. • Audio Units hosting ( standalone app only ) • Over 120 modules available, such as: oscillators, samplers, physical modelling modules, LFOs, envelope generators, filters, audio effects, mixers, MIDI processors, sequencers and math functions. • Morph groups: you can morph many parameters using a single slider. • Available as a standalone app, AUv3 instrument, effect and MIDI effect. • MIDI, MPE and Ableton Link support With Drambo, you are in charge. Waverley XL
7 day(s) ago
$5.99 -> $0.99
Based on 7 reviews. (7 reviews)
Please note: Waverley XL has been designed as an AUv3 (Audio Unit v3) instrument and does not run as a standalone app. It needs to be used inside an AUv3 compatible host such as Apple’s GarageBand or AUM shown in the screenshots. What is Waverley XL? Waverley XL is a sample-based instrument, or “ROMPLER”. It is not a synthesiser that allows you to create your own instruments. Instead, the instruments have already been created. You also have some additional sound-shaping options accessible via 10 parameters. Where did the sounds come from? The instruments have been created using my favourite virtual-analog hardware synthesiser with additional processing using its own effects engine. I designed all the patches from scratch, specifically for Waverley XL. Is this the same as MU Waverley in moodunits? Not exactly. Waverley XL uses similar sampling technology under the hood but has been developed in response to requests and suggestions from moodunits customers. The main difference is really the instruments themselves. Instruments for moodunits are designed to take up as little space and memory as possible and be relatively light on CPU. Waverley XL is “Xtra Large” in both name and nature! While this means Waverley XL takes up considerably more storage space, it also means that instruments can be more complex, evolving and also more interesting to play. A big design goal for XL was that the playing experience should “feel” and sound more like real instruments when played with a velocity sensitive keyboard and sustain pedal. Instruments There are currently 50 different instruments, each with 4 sets of parameter presets giving 200 patches in total. Instruments are categorised as “sustained”, “keyed”, “lead” or “departures” and this is shown in the central display panel. Sustained instruments will sustain until you release a key, whereas keyed instruments have a natural, more piano-like decay. Lead sounds are monophonic with a little legato glide and have less dynamic range. Departures are no holds barred sound design extravaganzas designed to take you on an atmospheric sonic journey! There are also a selection of 50 “components” taken from 25 of the main instruments for your own sound design experiments (*) Parameters Waverley XL has ten parameters that can be used for additional sound-shaping. The AMP envelope and FILTER in particular can be used to significantly change the character of an instrument. If you’re familiar with traditional synthesisers, these parameters should be immediately recognisable. Technical specifications • 50 individual high quality multi-sampled instruments designed specifically for Waverley XL • 50 additional "components" from the main instruments for sound design experiments (*) • 16 note polyphony (except lead sounds which are monophonic) • Note range C0 - C6 (Apple standard C3 = middle C) • Velocity-sensitive timbre changes with 30dB dynamic range (15dB for lead sounds) • Pitch bend range +/- two semitones (a whole note) • Modulation wheel is mapped to filter cut-off (note this will override filter envelope and vice versa) • Lead sounds have a fixed 100ms glide accessible via legato playing (*) Please note to mix and match components, you need to create multiple instances of Waverley XL in your AU host. This is described in more detail in the user guide accessible from the main Waverley XL app.

Waverley Tables

$6.99 -> $0.99

Please note: Waverley Tables has been designed as an AUv3 (Audio Unit v3) instrument and does not run as a standalone app. It needs to be used inside an AUv3 compatible host such as Apple’s GarageBand or AUM shown in the screenshots. What is Waverley Tables? Waverley Tables is a sample-based instrument, or “ROMPLER”. It is not a synthesiser that allows you to create your own instruments. Instead, the instruments have already been created. You also have some additional sound-shaping options accessible via 10 parameters. Where did the sounds come from? The instruments have been created using my favourite wavetable hardware synthesiser with additional processing using its own effects engine. I designed all the patches from scratch, specifically for Waverley Tables. Is this the same as MU Waverley in moodunits? Not exactly. Waverley Tables uses similar sampling technology under the hood but has been developed in response to requests and suggestions from moodunits customers. The main difference is really the instruments themselves. Instruments for moodunits are designed to take up as little space and memory as possible and be relatively light on CPU. Waverley Tables has been developed without these constraints as a top priority. While this means Waverley Tables takes up considerably more storage space, it also means that instruments can be more complex, evolving and also more interesting to play. A big design goal for Waverley Tables was that the playing experience should “feel” and sound more like real instruments when played with a velocity sensitive keyboard and sustain pedal. What about Waverley XL? Waverley XL was sampled from virtual analog hardware, whereas Waverley Tables is from a wavetable synthesiser. So while they might have similar sound design aesthetics they do have different characteristics. Waverley Tables could be considered brighter, bolder and more complex so the two might complement one another in the same project. Instruments There are currently 50 different instruments, each with 4 sets of parameter presets giving 200 patches in total. Instruments are categorised as “sustained”, “keyed” or “departures” and this is shown in the central display panel. Picky Music Player

$1.99 -> $0.99*
Based on 219 reviews. (219 reviews)
“…a powerful music utility that is perfect for getting reacquainted with your favorite tunes.” — John Voorhees, MacStories.net ”…undeniably one of the most powerful and accessible general-purpose players available today.” — Marc Barrowclift, barrowclift.me Featured in Macworld, MacStories, and Mac & i magazine, Picky is for people particular about their music, giving you full control over how you browse and listen to your albums and songs. ‣ Picky keeps your Artists and Albums lists uncluttered by hiding those with only a few songs – simply adjust the filters to taste. ‣ Queue up tracks to play later: simply swipe to the left on a song until the ‘+’ icon appears and turns solid orange, then let go to queue it. ‣ Use Picklists to quickly play (or queue) groups of songs – like playing an album without its bonus tracks. ‣ Easily sort the main Albums list and artists’ album lists with just a couple taps: by title, release date, duration, or by date added to your library. ‣ Picky lets you easily filter your Songs and Albums lists by genre (or by multiple genres). You can do things like quickly put together a mix by opening the filter, tapping on a few genres, and then closing it and tapping Shuffle. ‣ You can use the Artists and Songs filters to keep singles and one-hit-wonders tucked away, or bring them into focus when you really want to listen to them. ‣ Picky intelligently combines both grouping by artist and by album artist, so you'll always find your songs where you expect them to be. But if you prefer just one of the groupings, you can easily change that with a setting. ‣ Quickly see the list of your currently playing songs by simply swiping up in the Now Playing view. ‣ Quickly search across your entire music library with just a few taps. ‣ Picky is designed for iOS 15 and supports widgets, Dark Mode, Split View, AirPlay 2, iPad trackpads, Context Menus, VoiceOver, headphone remotes, iTunes Match, and Apple Music that has been added to your collection. You can use Picky exclusively or seamlessly switch between it and the system Music app. Picky: for listeners with refined taste.
