Nouveautés (v72.0.0)
This is a HUGE release. I was finally able to make time to tackle the backlog of game requests and, in this release, I've added three new games! That brings the total number of games to 80 with the IOS version having 79 games!
1. “Casino Hold'em” may very well be the most fair/realistic carnival game version of Texas Hold'em I've ever experienced. My understanding is that it is not widely available in the U.S. Maybe the RBG Player Community can change that by making requests of our local casinos. Check it out and let me know what you think!
2. “Chasing Pairs” is ADDICTIVE! In this game, the Player competes against the Dealer to see who can make a Pair first while up to five cards are dealt to the Player and the Dealer. I have to be honest: it's a difficult game to Fold; at least in RBG where you are always playing "Heads Up" against the Dealer. I'm excited to play this game in Live Play to see how things change when there are other people at the table.
As a result of this game, I've created a backlog item to try to determine if I can display the cards that get dealt to "other Players" at the table during a hand. Currently, in Preferences, many of the games in RBG allow you to define the number of Players at the table and your "seat". In these games, after a hand ends, you can view the cards that the other Players "folded". That feature was added solely to demonstrate that, even if your cards are bad, there may have been better hands dealt during a game.
In “Chasing Pairs”, being able to see which cards were dealt to other Players would likely have a significant impact on decisions you might make related to continuing a hand. Wish me luck. I'll do my best to figure out that enhancement! If I can figure it out, I'll also apply it to the Blackjack games that are currently "Heads Up" only.
3. “Three Card High or Low” is truly a "carnival game". It's pretty much a cross between War and Red Dog Bonus. Basically, the Player gets a single card and then must place a wager on whether the total value of three cards will "Under 18" or "Over 23".
I’m about to knuckle down on the backlog and plan to release several more games in the coming months and some pretty significant enhancements.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude to the loyal Players who reach out with requests, suggestions, bug reports, and just to “say Hi”. I am the “RBG Team”. I don’t have anyone else to help me - can’t afford it! Your support and patience is greatly appreciated.
RBG was only ever supposed to be a single game: Mississippi Stud. As a result of your support and encouragement it may possibly contain 100+ games before the end of the year. Wow! I am now in a situation where I visit casinos and the Dealer are aware of RBG and they love it!
