PhenoTop

PhenoTop is Phenome-One's new mobile application for smartphones and tablets. This app is designed for offline and online data collection in fields, such as observations and selections, including images.

Fields are designed in the main system and then easily shared, along with their relevant historical and current information, to the mobile device. The new information can be collected online and offline and it is automatically and constantly synchronized while the device is connected to the internet. The synchronization status is displayed for every field.
PhenoTop displays a list of fields that were shared with each user's mobile device along with all plots and plant information. A ‘Plot profile’ screen shows the germplasm planted in each plot and all supporting information such as pictures gallery, observations, selections, and plants. This includes data generated by other users and related information from other fields and generations. The app provides a simple workflow for adding new observations and recording data for any trait. Browsing and editing are simple due to advanced sorting and filtering tools and a modern look and feel. The app allows accessing plots using a barcode reader, to speed up and facilitate the data collection process.
This user-friendly application makes evaluations as fast and efficient as possible.
