Description

Welcome to the VIN Veterinary Drug Handbook (VVDH)

Everything you love about the VIN Veterinary Drug Handbook is now available in the VVDH app, included with your VIN membership.
One more reason to love being a part of the VIN Community!

This essential VINner tool was created by VIN Consultants with input from many other specialists, pharmacologists, and pharmacists. It includes basic drug information such as pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, indications, contraindications, therapeutic dosages, adverse events, and drug interactions for drugs commonly used in veterinary medicine. Whenever available, controlled studies and pharmacokinetic data are used to generate dosage information. However, some doses may be based on historical anecdotal use or published information from a case or case series. Listed references also include drug product information, textbook chapters, and conference proceedings.

The VVDH is regularly updated as new drugs and information emerge and with suggestions from VIN members.

• Built-in dosage calculator for seamless accuracy
• Clinical Pearls from VIN Consultants for advanced insights
• Detailed drug monographs with supporting references for the comprehensive information you need
• Interactions, precautions, and adverse effects included for safe prescribing
• Client information sheets to meet state legal requirements and articles to inform your clients
