This update includes:
- Brand-new Mini Player – A persistent mini player follows you across the app so your lecture keeps playing while you browse courses, search, or check your progress. Tap it any time to jump right back into the full lecture screen, exactly where you left off.
- Truly continuous playback – Audio and video no longer restart, stutter, or stop when you change screens. One lecture, one playback session, all the way through.
- Auto-play through a course – Finish a lecture and the next one in the course queues up automatically, so you can stay in the Word without reaching for your phone.
- Background audio that just works – Lock your screen, switch apps, or drop your phone in your pocket and your lecture keeps going. Full lock-screen and Control Center controls on iOS, and a rich playback notification on Android.
- Smarter Car Mode – A unified, distraction-free Car Mode for both online and downloaded lectures, with big-touch controls designed for the road.
- Seamless online and offline listening – Streamed and downloaded lectures now share the same player, the same controls, and the same queue. Start online, finish offline, all without skipping a beat.
- Stability and polish – Numerous behind-the-scenes improvements to make navigation snappier, audio handoffs smoother, and the whole experience more dependable.
