The log entry form sits on the first tab. Amount and tag is all you need. Save and the form clears for the next one, so a coffee, a taxi, and lunch are three taps each, not three trips through a modal.

The longer you use CashJot, the faster it gets. Past entries surface as suggestions while you type, sorted by how often you've logged them. Your morning coffee becomes a single tap.

EXPENSE GROUPS
Keep parts of your life separate. A "Daily" group for everyday spending, a "Tokyo 2026" group for the trip, a "Side Project" group for business expenses. Each group has its own currency, budgets, and reports, so a trip doesn't blow up your monthly average.

RECURRING EXPENSES
Set up your subscriptions, rent, and bills once. They appear on schedule in your Recurring tab, where you can skip or adjust any month. No more logging them by hand each time.

Apple Pay Capture
Set up the Apple Pay automation once in Shortcuts. After every in-store tap, CashJot logs the transaction for you with the amount, merchant, and card from Wallet. A notification banner lets you undo in one tap, and the Captures sheet keeps everything reviewable.

BILL REMINDERS
Get a heads-up before any recurring bill is due. Pick a default lead time, or override per bill: day of, 1 day, 3 days, or a week. Bills due the same day arrive in one notification.

WIDGETS
Glanceable widgets for today's spend, budget progress, recent transactions, and upcoming bills. Available on both the Home Screen and Lock Screen, so you can stay aware without opening the app.

BUDGETS
Set a target on any expense group and track progress in real time. Daily spending, a trip, a side project. Each budget lives where the expenses do.

SPENDING REPORTS
Monthly reports out of the box. Plus unlocks weekly and yearly views, so you can see patterns at any zoom level.

SPENDING TRENDS
See spending over time as a line chart, with each period compared against the one before. Scrub any point to see the transactions behind it.

Travelling or buying abroad? Set your own conversion rate once per group, then log in that currency. CashJot shows both values, and totals roll up to your default.
