Description

Project Clean Grid helps you reduce carbon emissions from your electricity use. Think of this app like a weather forecast for grid emissions. By shifting when you use electricity – ex: doing your laundry, charging your EV, or charging and discharging your home battery – you can reduce the associated emissions by anywhere from 5% to 95% depending on your location and the season.

Project Clean Grid provides real-time and forecast grid emissions data in easy to understand visuals to help you find the cleanest times to use electricity, as well as times to conserve when emissions are high. Greener means cleaner.

The My Places page allows you to load favorite locations to see how emissions vary from one location to the next.

Nouveautés (v1.3)

New "daily reduction potential" on the Home and My Places screens to show how much users can reduce emissions by shifting to cleaner times. Grid emissions values are now shown as index values between 0 (no emissions) and 100 (highest emissions). Marginal emissions data has also been updated by WattTime to enhance accuracy. Additional text changes and different intake flow.
