Nouveautés (v1.18.2)
What's new in this version of Newsbin
Thanks for using Newsbin! This is a small follow-up release focused on better YouTube handling, more accurate timestamps and item counts, and a few UI refinements.
Improvements
- YouTube feeds: alternate video links are now detected and promoted to first-class YouTube video items when an entry has no on-host link.
- "Time ago" labels now use a rolling 24-hour and 7-day window, so an article from 22 hours ago shows the actual time instead of jumping to "yesterday."
- New item counts on refresh only include items that actually pass your filters, so totals match what you see in the list.
- Smoother sidebar rendering: root folders are computed once and reused across rows and menus.
- Faster, more consistent badge updates after read/unread changes.
Fixes
- iPad: removed a duplicate subtitle that appeared in the navigation bar alongside the toolbar status.
- "Mark all read" now properly clears the focused article so it isn't restored after the refresh.
- Minor localization and spacing cleanups.
