Nouveautés (v2.0.6)
Now Boarding: TuneTransit v2.0.6 - Bug Fixes and Improvements!
Summer is nearly here, can you feel it too? The continued approach to summer motivates the team more than ever into making TuneTransit ready for beach season, especially when you want to send over your new favorite track that you can't get out of your head. It's great when you know that sharing a song with friends will land just the way you want, on the platform that they prefer.
Since the last update, we have been working on stabilizing and tweaking the TuneTransit experience to make it accessible to more users than ever before. Version 2.0.6 contains visual changes and behind the scenes improvements that prepare the application for new features that are on the way.
This update contains the following bug fixes and improvements:
Improvements:
- Visual enhancements have been made to the Search tab to optimize changes made in Version 2.0.5, which includes two rows for song titles and artists, bigger artwork, and adjusted action buttons. Let us know what you think!
- Our Now Playing, Recently Played, and TuneTransit Station logic has been refactored to provide better accuracy and fix several bugs with the existing flow. For Apple Music users, this should result in more consistent ordering of recently played tracks along with improved stability across the board.
- TuneTransit will now clear the Recently Played and TuneTransit Station caches of previously played songs after new updates. While this seems small and will result in some backend syncing after each new update, this lays the foundation for future updates and fixes that we apply to this logic in TuneTransit.
- An Offline mode has been added to TuneTransit to improve the user experience when not online.
- Several optimizations have been made on TuneTransit's backend to improve app connectivity and user management.
Bug Fixes:
- We fixed a bug where the album artwork would not render properly on TuneTransit Station user profiles.
- We fixed a bug where incorrect timestamps would sometimes display on TuneTransit Station and its user profiles.
- We fixed a bug where TuneTransit would sometimes duplicate the most recently played song in Recently Played and on TuneTransit Station during app launch, especially for Apple Music users.
As always, thank you for using TuneTransit and we look forward to continuing to deliver a seamless music sharing experience!
