Fio elevates iPhone photography by countering overprocessed computational imaging, helping you reclaim the authentic joy of shooting.
Fio provides two photography modes:
• 「ZERO」 algorithm-free film photography mode | 2「PRD」 computational photography mode.
In 「ZERO」 mode, you can capture true, natural, unsharpened photos with organic grain, authentic noise, rich light sensation, and film-like texture – all completely free from algorithms.
Fio offers 22 classic film-based color grading presets to help you capture photos rich with humanistic tones and authentic emotions. This isn't superficial filtering - it's sensor-level color science.
By analyzing real photo samples from vintage cameras and films, we've faithfully recreated their signature color science. Carefully crafted presets replicate iconic color styles from Fujifilm, Leica, Ricoh, Kodak, and more.
Fio features four digital filter emulations:
• Diffusion | Black Mist (HDF) | White Mist | Star Glow
Stepless intensity control allows pixel-perfect effect tuning during capture.
Fio offers three focusing modes:
• Autofocus | Manual Focus | Macro Focus
Seamlessly toggle between modes via the tactile scroll wheel, achieving optimal balance between speed and precision.
Fio employs state-of-the-art imaging technology.
Built on Apple's Metal framework and calibrated with CMOS sensor data, it delivers ultra-fast processing speeds and refined details through minimalistic operation.
Supporting the Display P3 wide color gamut, it ensures higher color accuracy and richer tonal gradations.
Photos can be saved in 10-bit HEIF format with combined HEIF+RAW storage, enabling lossless post-capture adjustments to white balance, exposure, tone, digital filters, and film simulations

We've fixed multiple bugs reported for v1.3, improving stability and the overall user experience.

Version 1.3 – Major Update
Introducing the all-new Depth Mode, LivePhoto capture, the fully automatic half-frame recipe Diana, and Watermarking. We’ve also refined the UI and added a series of new features and adjustments based on your feedback.
1. New Crafted Depth Mode
· Manually adjust the aperture to control depth of field.
· Preview the depth effect in real-time via video feed.
· Compose freely with continuous zoom.
· Capture LivePhotos with depth-of-field effects enabled.
· Non-destructive editing of results: adjust depth strength, focus point, color, grain, watermark, and paper style.
2. New LivePhoto Capture
· Capture true high-quality LivePhotos. The still image is a dedicated photo (not a video frame) and can include depth-of-field effects.
· The video portion captures about 3 seconds around the moment of shooting.
3. New Fully Automatic Half-Frame Recipe: Diana
· Shoot 1 to 4 frames as needed, with full manual control.
· Supports the XPAN aspect ratio.
· Also supports LivePhoto, allowing for striking half-frame LivePhoto captures.
4. New Watermarking Feature
· Add watermarks at the time of shooting.
· Two types currently supported: Timestamp and Logo (with 8 different logo styles available).
5. UI Refinements
· Streamlined main shooting interface: quick-access buttons reduced to three (focus control on the left, aperture control on the right).
· New Personalization menu for adjusting various parameters (e.g., front-camera mirroring, default grain intensity).
· Improved color/recipe selection menu with a pull-up gesture for easier browsing.
