Description
Locked is an iOS utility app that leverages the Family Controls entitlement to enforce per-app and per-category restrictions via a physical NFC tag. When the user taps their custom Locked NFC tag, the app toggles a managed-settings lock (using the ManagedSettings framework) on selected apps and categories. This provides a simple, hardware-driven mechanism for digital wellbeing, focused work or study sessions, and parental controls.

What’s New in Locked 3.0
1) Timer Lock
Lock apps for a set duration without using an NFC tag. Ideal for focus sessions, study blocks, or short digital detoxes.
• Choose a duration from 5 minutes to 12 hours
• Apps stay locked until the timer ends
• No early unlocks
• Live countdown shown on the home screen
2) Improved Onboarding
New users now get a guided setup that makes Locked usable right away.
• Clear introduction to how Locked works
• Step-by-step permissions setup
• Required app selection for your first profile
• NFC tag pairing during setup
You finish onboarding with at least one fully configured profile.
3) Stronger Lock Protection
Active lock sessions now prevent app deletion.
