What’s New
- Added a new For You row on Discover when a specific language is selected. It recommends podcasts matched to your listening level and recent context, and podcast pages can show why something was recommended.
- Added episode difficulty feedback so PolyPod can learn whether episodes feel too easy, a good fit, or too hard. Automatic prompts can be toggled in Settings → Learning & Personalisation, and you can still rate manually from the player menu or an episode’s
context menu.
- Added per-podcast Skip Intro and Skip Outro settings in each podcast’s settings. Intro skip starts new plays after the intro, and outro skip finishes the episode once the outro boundary is reached.
- Added Rewind On Pause in Settings → Playback Controls, letting you automatically jump back a few seconds whenever you pause.
- Added a dedicated Downloads screen with storage usage, grouped downloaded episodes, playback, and delete actions.
- Added iOS Daily Progress widgets for Home Screen and Lock Screen.
- Redesigned Achievements collection with refreshed badge art, progress values, next targets, and detail sheets.
- Added Mark as Incomplete for completed episodes.
- Library podcasts can now be unsubscribed directly with swipe actions or grid edit mode.
- Added a Classic alternate app icon and refreshed the app branding/splash artwork.

- Continue Listening now uses larger artwork-led cards with clearer progress.
- Episode playback opens the player faster while loading continues in the background.
- Podcast playback now uses the current or subscribed language automatically, without interrupting with a language prompt.
- Auto-continue can now skip already-started episodes when enabled in Settings.
- Up Next now shows total listening time.
- Downloads and offline playback now handle failed transfers, partial cleanup, local audio, and completed-download cleanup more reliably.
- Playback progress, queue restore, background session saving, language switching, and widget progress sync have been hardened.
- Settings, About, Profile, onboarding, guest mode, achievements, and app icon sections have been visually cleaned up.
- The PolyPod website has been refreshed with updated visuals and clearer support content.
