Description

On This Day shows you photos from your library taken on today's date in past years.

Open the app and see what you were doing one, two, or five years ago. No account needed, no cloud upload. It reads your photo library and filters by today's date.

What you can do

- Browse photos grouped by year
- Swipe between days to check other dates
- View EXIF metadata: camera, lens, ISO, aperture, shutter speed
- See where a photo was taken on a map
- Share photos with a date caption
- Add widgets to your home screen
- Get a daily reminder to look back
- Pinch to zoom, favorite, and delete photos

Privacy

Your photos never leave your device. OnThisDay reads from your photo library and doesn't upload or sync anything.

Pro

The free version shows the last 3 years. Pro gives you access to your full history and removes the share watermark.

- Favorite state now displays properly when returning from full screen to grid view
- Widget no longer duplicates an image when too few are available
- Companion Shortcut now uses your local timezone instead of UTC for search
