Description
ESPHome–WLED Device Manager is a native iOS and iPadOS app to discover and control ESPHome and WLED hardware on your LAN. Includes a watchOS companion. No account or cloud—everything stays local.
• SwiftUI, Dark Mode, Bonjour/mDNS discovery, and resilient networking on flaky Wi‑Fi
• Apple Watch: quick WLED and ESPHome controls on the network; syncs with iPhone where supported
ESPHome
• HTTP/REST and native API (optional Noise encryption); entity paths and handshake match current firmware; on-device logs when available
• Controls for switches, lights, fans, covers, climate, numbers, selects, buttons, and more—plus reorder, hide, and group components
• Richer discovery with the optional listcomponents extension: https://github.com/domgrimm/esphome-webserver-listcomponents
WLED
• Brightness, effects, palettes, segment colors, Live View strip/matrix preview, collapsible sections, tappable effect and palette pickers
• On-device custom palette editor (gradient stops, CPT-city library download), LittleFS file editor (e.g. palette JSON), PixelForge helpers—Pixel Paint with live LEDs and GIF save, Image Tool uploads, Scrolling Text—and Safari for the full PixelForge web hub
• Add devices by IP/port; HTTP Basic auth when required
Privacy: No tracking stack; control is on your LAN; Local Network access required; optional tips (never required to use the app).
Requirements: iOS 17+, watchOS 10+; ESPHome web/native API as you enable it; WLED JSON API (default).
Note: Community-built; not affiliated with ESPHome or WLED.
Nouveautés (v2.5.0)
WLED PixelForge — paint on-device, image uploads, scrolling text.
• Native Pixel Paint — brush, lines, circles, squares, smear, optional rainbow strokes; live LED updates on the selected segment; preview shapes before you release; save a GIF to LittleFS and auto-apply the Image effect when your firmware supports it.
• Image Tool — choose a photo, scale to your strip or matrix, upload as GIF with the same auto-apply flow.
• Scrolling Text — edit segment text from the app and apply the Scrolling Text effect when available.
• LittleFS file editor — browse, edit, upload, and delete files on the controller (including palette JSON); open from Device Settings or when managing palettes.
Bug fixes and polish throughout.
