Version 2.0 is a ground-up native rewrite of SongScribe. Every screen was rebuilt in Swift for iOS. Faster to open, smoother to scroll, and shaped around the way iPhone and iPad actually work. If you used SongScribe before, this is the version we always wanted to ship.

- Native Swift rewrite. Everything is faster and more responsive, especially the editor and performance mode.
- Redesigned chord-on-lyric editor. Tap to enter chord mode. Drag chords to reposition. Tap any chord to hear it, edit it, or see the fingering.
- Chord picker with reverse search. Play a shape and get the chord name back.
- Multi-track recording. Stack up to four overdub layers on any song, control gain per layer, and bounce to a single mix.
- Performance mode. Fullscreen, auto-scrolling, with auto-hiding controls and setlist navigation.
- Five instruments: guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, with 25+ alternate tunings and correct chord diagrams for each.
- Chromatic tuner built in, with instrument presets and noise suppression.
- Harmony tool. See the diatonic chords for your song's key, Roman numerals and functions, and explore related keys.
- Metronome with tap tempo, five click sounds, and time signatures up to 12/16.
