Finally, a way to communicate when hearing aids aren't enough.

I built SpeakToRead to be able to "talk" with my 95-year-old father. He has dementia and severe hearing loss and won't wear hearing aids. It got to the point where even yelling wasn't working anymore. We were both frustrated. He can still read and speak, so I started typing in a huge font on my iPad. While that did work, it was cumbersome. But it gave me the idea for SpeakToRead.

SpeakToRead turns your speech into massive, easy-to-read text instantly. It brings connection back to families, caregivers, and medical professionals. The nurses at my Dad's assisted living center loved it, so I had to share it.
