theSHFT is a private messaging app built for people who take privacy seriously.
Everything is encrypted on your device before it’s sent. Messages, calls, photos, and voice memos. We never see it. No one does.
Send texts, photos, videos, and voice memos with full end-to-end encryption. Each message uses its own encryption key with forward secrecy, so even if one key is compromised, nothing else is affected.
Messages automatically disappear after being read. Set timers from 5 seconds to 24 hours and watch a live countdown to the exact second it’s gone. Once it disappears, it’s permanently deleted from both devices.
Make encrypted voice and video calls secured with AES-256. Keys are derived from your existing secure session, so your calls stay private from start to finish.
Create encrypted group chats with up to 50 members. Encryption keys rotate automatically when members change, and removed users can’t access future messages.
Send voice memos with a visual waveform and scrub through playback. Like everything else, they’re encrypted and self-destruct on your timer.

Screenshots and screen recordings are blocked inside the app. If someone manages to capture the screen, the other person is notified instantly.
