Recall: Spaced Repetition

Most flashcard apps let information slip away because they show you cards on a fixed schedule, or whenever you feel like it. Recall uses FSRS, a state-of-the-art spaced repetition algorithm, to show each card at the exact moment you're about to forget it. You study less. You remember more.

STUDY SMARTER WITH SPACED REPETITION
Every time you review a card, you grade yourself: Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. Recall uses your answer to calculate exactly when to show that card next — intervals grow from days to weeks to months as your memory strengthens. The algorithm adapts to you.

CREATE YOUR OWN DECKS IN MINUTES
Making a deck is as simple as a spreadsheet. Write your cards as a CSV file — front, back, and an optional extra column for notes — and import it with one tap. You can create decks in any text editor, in Numbers or Excel, or by asking an AI like Claude to generate one for you in seconds.

DRILL MODE — PRACTISE WITHOUT LIMITS
Finished your due cards but want to keep going? Switch to Drill mode. You can run through any deck as many times as you like without touching your spaced repetition schedule. Great for the night before an exam.

VISUAL DECKS WITH IMAGES
Import a ZIP file containing images alongside your CSV and put a photo on the front of each card. Perfect for bird identification, flag recognition, anatomy diagrams, art history, or any subject where a picture is worth a thousand words.
