Tap tempo or dial in BPM with a slider. Choose from wood block, digital click, stick, or silent mode. Set time signatures and count-in measures. Each lyric version can override the song's tempo — perfect when you play the same song at different speeds.

Band Central 3.0 -- The New Lyric Viewer
This release replaces the lyric viewer end-to-end. Lyrics render natively now, not through a web view, so everything is faster, smoother, and more reliable.
What's new:
- Brand new native lyric viewer. Pinch-to-zoom that just works on the first try, smoother scrolling, and your zoom level is remembered separately on each device.
- Chorus and bridge sections marked with a left-margin bar. Sections opened with {soc} or {sob} get a vertical reference bar, while the existing section banner stays as the label.
- Bold, italic, and underline in lyrics. Wrap any part of a lyric in {start_of_bold}, {soi}, {sou}, or the HTML aliases , , , and have them nest with the existing {soh} highlight.
- Tappable URLs in lyrics. Long links wrap at logical break points and open in your browser when you tap them.
- Author-controlled pauses for auto-scroll. Drop {pause:5} into a lyric and auto-scroll waits five seconds at that spot.
- Format Lyrics syncs live across your devices. Change a font, color, or section style on one device and see it on the others in about a second and a half.
- Pedal scroll improvements. Quarter, Half, and Full scroll amounts are now sized to your screen, with a 15 percent overlap on Full so you keep your place. At the end of a song the pedal needs a second confirming press before it advances, so
you never skip past a lyric by accident.
- Smoother swipe between songs in setlists. The swipe gate is stricter, so a pinch-zoom or scroll motion won't accidentally turn into a song change.
- Adding a new lyric makes it your default automatically. Importing, saving from Lyric Search, or manually adding a lyric version makes it your starred default for that song. Other band members keep their own defaults independently.
- Section header background "None" now actually clears the band instead of falling back to the default light blue.
- Subtitle (artist name) now matches your lyric text color when you haven't customized it.
- Windows-imported lyric fix. Lyrics that came in with mixed line endings no longer show a blank line between every line.
- Cleaner Lyric menu. Reorganized into Edit, Attach Audio, Attach Document, Text Size, Transpose, Format Lyrics, Metronome, Show Audio Player, and a Settings submenu so nothing gets cut off on iOS 26.
- Upgrade picker. When you launch 3.0 for the first time you'll see a brief sheet describing the new viewer, with options to try it now or stick with the previous view. You can switch any time from Settings, Lyrics.
- Smaller fixes for setlist loading, swipe-between-songs reliability, pinch-to-zoom needing two or three tries, and various crashes.
