NESTED SUBMERCHANTABLE & BIOMASS PLOTS

SilvaCruise uses published, peer-reviewed volume equations — the same models used across federal, state, and private sector forestry:

Wensel & Olsen (1995) equations for 8 major western conifers: Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, sugar pine, lodgepole pine, white fir, red fir, and incense-cedar
Clark stem profile model (SE-282) for 49 southern species: loblolly, longleaf, slash, shortleaf pine, yellow-poplar, sweetgum, oaks, hickories, and more
Form Class 78 table fallback for all other species

Supported log rules: Scribner Decimal C, International 1/4", and Doyle.
