DacLane connects drivers and riders digitally; it does not operate transport.

DacLane is a technology platform designed to facilitate digital communication and payments between independent drivers and passengers. The company does not own or operate vehicles, does not employ drivers, does not set fares, and does not control, manage, dispatch, or supervise trip operations. As such, DacLane does not operate transportation services and does not qualify as a Transportation Network Company (TNC) under applicable state statutes.

Drivers using the platform act as independent contractors and are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including obtaining required local licenses, vehicle permits, and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage, whether personal or commercial with a TNC or rideshare endorsement.

DacLane does not provide insurance of any kind and assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents, injuries, damages, losses, or disputes arising from trips arranged through the platform.

The platform’s sole function is to provide a digital interface that enables users to connect, communicate, and process payments. DacLane operates strictly as a digital service provider and not as a transportation provider.
