FlightDose

FlightDose is a scientific aviation tool for estimating exposure to cosmic radiation during flight, based on established aerospace radiation modeling principles.

At its core, FlightDose leverages methodologies derived from CARI-7, a widely recognized aviation radiation dose model developed for analyzing radiation exposure at altitude. By combining route geometry with altitude, latitude, geomagnetic shielding, and solar conditions, FlightDose provides informed estimates of in-flight radiation dose in a clear, modern interface.

Cosmic radiation increases rapidly at cruising altitudes and varies significantly by latitude and flight path. FlightDose makes this invisible environmental factor understandable using real aviation physics and data-driven calculations.
