This update fixes dark mode on iPhone and iPad after iOS 26 updates.
• Safari pages darken fully again—not just a brief gray flash
• Improved detection so our extension doesn’t mistake its own anti-flash styles for “already dark” sites
• More reliable dark mode when you refresh or return to a tab
If dark mode stopped working after an iOS update, update the app, then confirm Dark Reader Mode is still ON under Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions and in Safari’s Manage Extensions menu.
