PitchStill: Play by Ear

PitchStill is active note training for real musicians. The app gives you a target note, plays the sound, and listens through your phone mic while you match it on guitar, bass, piano, or voice.

If you know shapes, scales, or theory but still hunt for notes when it is time to play, PitchStill trains that gap directly with short scored reps.

Hold your phone near whatever you play. A note appears, PitchStill plays the target, then scores how accurately and how quickly you hit it. Hit it clean and fast and your score climbs. Miss it and your streak resets.

Choose your instrument, note range, and session length. Guitar and bass players can narrow drills to specific strings and fret spans. Piano and vocal users can stay inside a comfortable range.

This trains note recall and pitch production on your real instrument, not passive tap-to-answer guessing.

SEQUENCES (PREMIUM)

Go deeper with chord tones, inversions, and scale patterns played one note at a time. You have to match each note before the sequence advances.

Difficulty levels:
- Beginner: I, IV, V - the three foundation chords of any key
- Intermediate: All 7 diatonic chords of a key in order
- Advanced: All 7 chords, reshuffled each round
- Random: All 7 chords across all 3 inversions (21 patterns)

Scale mode runs the same structure: ascending, descending, thirds up, thirds down.
