Description
Accurate. Fast. No nonsense.
Tuner App gives you a professional chromatic tuner for guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, and banjo. Pluck a string and see exactly where you stand: the note, how many cents sharp or flat, and the detected frequency in Hz. That's it. It works, and it works well.
AUTO + MANUAL MODES
In Auto mode, the tuner listens and figures out which string you're playing. No tapping, no selecting. Just play. In Manual mode, pick your target note and focus on dialing it in. Both modes respond in real time with a smooth gauge that shows exactly how far off you are.
6 INSTRUMENTS, TONS OF TUNINGS
Switch between Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Mandolin, Banjo, and a full Chromatic tuner. Guitar covers Standard, Drop D, Open G, Open D, DADGAD, and Half Step Down. Bass has Standard and Drop D. Ukulele supports Standard and Low G. More tunings on the way.
REFERENCE TONES
Tap any string to hear its target pitch through your speaker. Useful when you're tuning by ear or double-checking your work. Adjustable reference pitch from 430 to 450 Hz for orchestral or ensemble playing.
HEADSTOCK STRING SELECTORS
Pick the string selector that matches your instrument. Classic 3+3 acoustic layout, 6-in-line electric, 4-in-line bass, or keep it simple with the minimal view. Each instrument has its own set of styles, and your pick is remembered between sessions.
IN-TUNE FEEDBACK
An optional ding lets you know when a string locks in. Handy when you're focused on your fretting hand and not staring at the screen. A visual flash confirms it too.
BUILT FOR PRIVACY
All audio processing happens on your device. Nothing is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. The mic is only active while you're tuning.
DETAILS THAT MATTER
- Adjustable A4 reference pitch (430-450 Hz)
- Show or hide the detected frequency readout
- Light, Dark, and System theme options
