Description
What's new in 1.1.0
Garmin watch sync
Record fishing and hunting sessions on your paired Garmin
watch and ship them to the phone over Bluetooth. No Garmin
Connect cloud, no extra accounts. Linked-session mode lets
you start on the phone and log catches from the watch in
real time; offline catches stitch into the session on next
sync.
Group sessions
Fish or hunt with friends. Convert any session into a
group, share the join code or QR, and see everyone's
catches plot live on the same map. Members who lose signal
mid-trip have their late uploads stitched into the group's
stats automatically when they reconnect.
Whitewater activity
New Strava-style float type focused on distance and water
flow rather than catches. Quick-log flow markers in CFS as
you run a stretch.
Sessions heat map
See where you've spent the most time across the season at
a glance.
Auto-detect on launch
Start a float trip and the river segment plus stream gauge
infer themselves from your launch GPS. No more hunting
through pickers.
Weather timeline
Active session screen shows a scrubbable timeline of
conditions across the day: air, wind, pressure.
Reservoirs
Reservoirs are first-class locations now: map markers,
detail screens, log sessions against them.
Password recovery and account deletion
Forgot Password and Reset Password flows landed; account
deletion is self-serve from the Profile screen.
Quieter and tougher
* Stays signed in across token expiry. No more random
bounces to login mid-trip.
* Offline resilience: network failures no longer block the
app from being usable; pending writes queue and sync
when you reconnect.
* More accurate float distance. Outlier GPS pings filtered
out, scored against a cached river GeoJSON so distance
follows the actual waterway.
* Sessions list shows your full history. Older sessions
are no longer hidden behind a silent 10-row cap.
* USGS, Colorado DWR, Montana DNRC, NOAA NWPS, and USACE
Little Rock all render consistently as flow sources.
* Station pressure shows the actual reading, not the
sea-level adjusted value.
Plus a long list of fixes: NOAA -999 sentinel readings no
longer render as numbers, QR codes stay stable across
renders, "Open on watch" appears when a Garmin is paired,
the Sessions list refreshes on app foreground, and dozens
more.
Tap Settings, then Garmin Sync if you have a watch to
pair. Get out on the water.
