Love kava? Not coffee — the calming, earthy drink from the Pacific Islands.

Bula Buddy is your space to track, share, and explore kava sessions with friends without worrying about your data or scams. It was built as a side project, not a money maker, by an independent developer who loves kava.

Log each session as it happens. Add the location (kava bar, home, or anywhere), the type of kava you’re drinking, and personal notes. Your notes stay private, while the rest of your session can be shared with the community to interact with.

See where people are drinking, discover new spots, and find out who’s been there recently. You can also rate locations and help others find the best kava experiences around.

Follow friends to stay in the loop. When they log a session, you’ll know. Show some love by double-tapping to “Bula!” their posts. Link your post to your buddy's for easy access if you're sharing kava together. You can even pay for a drink for your buddies with Buddy Pay (only if the location participates). You pay for an extra drink even if your buddy isn't there. With the bar's help (to confirm you paid) you create a coupon that gets sent to your buddy. Next time your buddy comes in, they have their coupon in the app and grab their free/discounted drink!
