Description
TriggerDeck is an independent iPhone client for teams that run their own Zabbix-based monitoring environments.
The app connects directly to each customer's Zabbix API over HTTPS. It is built for secure mobile access without a hosted browsing proxy:
- customer API tokens stay on the device in iOS Keychain
- the optional TriggerDeck backend is used only for APNs push delivery
- problem, host, and latest-value browsing comes directly from the customer environment
Current capabilities include:
- browse active, recent, and history problem views
- filter, group, sort, and tag-filter problems per server
- acknowledge, unacknowledge, change severity, and suppress problems
- see inline latest item values on problem rows before opening details
- open problem details with latest values, relative timestamps, severity badges, and technical metadata
- open numeric charts from latest-data rows with shared ranges, threshold lines, and tap/drag value inspection
- browse hosts with search, filters, tag filters, sorting, status badges, and redesigned host details
- open host-scoped Items, Problems, Dashboards, and Graphs from Host Details
- browse latest values in a dedicated Items flow with host picker, filters, and section-scoped refresh
- open a landscape-first dashboard reader with remembered per-server selection, shared time ranges, and supported native widgets including Problems, Problems by severity, Graph, Graph (classic), Gauge, Item value, Clock, Top hosts, Top triggers, Trigger overview, Top items, Action log, and Host availability
- browse host-scoped graphs directly from a selected host
- read item values using server-defined value mappings and Zabbix-aligned human-readable unit formatting across lists, details, charts, and dashboard gauges
- back up server setup and app preferences to iCloud and restore them later, with clear in-app success and restore guidance
- create support tickets from the iOS app through the Support screen, including bug reports, feature requests, contact requests, optional screenshots, and a previewable redacted support file for bug/support tickets
- configure multiple servers and verify connections with Test Server
- optionally enable push notifications and review push status plus UNIQUE_UID in the server edit flow
