Davis WeatherLink users get real-time sensor data including 10-minute wind averages, observed highs/lows with timestamps, and multiple feels-like indexes (Heat Index, THSW, THW, WBGT, Wind Chill).

10-Day Forecast
Hourly and daily forecasts with temperature, wind, gusts, rainfall probability, and precipitation amounts. See sunrise, sunset, and moon phase. Get ahead of high-wind and heavy-rain events with dedicated forecast tiles. The Histogram chart puts the forecast in context — visually plotting forecast temperature highs and lows against historical averages, alongside forecast rain and forecast wind, so you can see exactly how the days ahead stack up against the norm.

AI Planner — On-Device Intelligence
The Planner uses on-device AI to analyse your 10-day forecast and find the best days for outdoor activities like running, gardening, BBQ, beach trips, and more. Add custom activities with your own weather criteria. All processing happens on your device — your data never leaves your phone.

Weather Map
An interactive map showing all your saved locations and Davis stations with live temperature, wind, and condition data. Switch to live wind radar to watch animated streams sweep across the country, or live rain radar to trace precipitation as it tracks toward your locations. Scrub the timeline to replay the last few hours or look ahead — look-ahead availability varies by region. Pan, zoom, and tap any pin for full details.

Almanac — Historical & Climate Data
View actual observed data alongside 30-year climate normals for any date range. Browse temperature, humidity, wind, rainfall, and pressure history with interactive charts. Look ahead to future dates to see what weather is typical — perfect for planning trips or events.

Smart Notifications
Set custom thresholds for high wind, gusts, rainfall, and temperature. Get notified when the forecast exceeds your limits. Optionally enable historical variance alerts that flag days where the forecast deviates significantly from climate averages. On-device AI summarises active alerts into a quick-read overview.

Two Data Sources — Use One or Both
• Apple Weather: Forecasts and conditions worldwide. Current location tracking. No setup required.
• Davis WeatherLink: Real-time data from your personal weather station. Requires a Davis station with a WeatherLink Live, AirLink, or EnviroMonitor gateway and a Pro or Pro+ API subscription.

Highlights Unusual Weather
Forecast highs and lows are colour-coded when they deviate from historical averages — red for unusually warm, blue for unusually cool — so you can spot anomalies at a glance.

Widgets
Home screen and lock screen widgets in multiple sizes: conditions, forecast, and a combined conditions-and-forecast view. Widgets update automatically and reflect your chosen theme.

Themes & Customisation
Choose from weather-adaptive gradients that shift with conditions and time of day, or select a fixed colour theme. Adjust contrast, toggle coloured weather icons, synchronise or separate app and widget themes, and lock the background to a specific weather condition.

Runs Everywhere
Native on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Adaptive layouts use the full screen on iPad with a sidebar and side-by-side views. iCloud sync keeps your saved locations consistent across all devices.
