Live-Loop is a real-time travel companion app by City Discoverer that delivers personalized, location-aware recommendations while travelers are in a destination. Using live inputs like location, time, weather, and user preferences, it dynamically suggests nearby restaurants, attractions, neighborhoods, and experiences, helping users decide what to do next in the moment.

The app combines a personalized discovery engine, curated neighborhood guides, flexible trip planning, and themed micro-itineraries in one platform. Unlike static guides, recommendations continuously adapt to each traveler’s context.

Users begin with a short onboarding to set travel party, style, and interests, which shape all recommendations. The core engine ranks places based on factors like distance, opening hours, weather, time of day, and user profile.

The main “Now” screen shows a live feed of nearby suggestions with key details and filters for categories like food, culture, outdoor, nightlife, and hidden gems, with list, map, or dashboard views.

Live-Loop also offers curated neighborhood guides, providing area overviews, highlights, and insider picks to help users explore by location.

The app includes themed micro-itineraries (“loops”) such as food walks, cultural days, or quick nearby plans, each populated with real places.

A built-in trip planner lets users organize multi-day trips, save places, add notes, and adjust plans. Saved places are accessible across cities.

User profiles store preferences like travel style, interests, and budget, continuously refining recommendations. Users can also request new cities, which are added via an internal admin system that manages destinations, places, and content.

Overall, Live-Loop combines real-time recommendations, personalization, guides, itineraries, planning tools, and saved places to help travelers discover and navigate destinations dynamically during their trip.
