Nouveautés (v1.6.2)
This update hardens the app for backcountry use:
• SOS strobe now uses your iPhone's camera flash (torch) on multi-lens models, so the distress signal is far brighter
than screen flash alone.
• "Return to Camp" GPS now shows how accurate each saved waypoint is (±meters) and warns you when a fix is weak — so
you can re-mark before you rely on it.
• New Lightning Safety guide (NWS/NOLS based): when to seek shelter, the "if you hear thunder" rule, strike avoidance,
the 30-minute wait, and strike first aid.
• Reference diagrams (knots and more) now show a clear "unavailable offline" notice with a Retry button instead of a
blank space.
• Added native haptic feedback — the breathing exercise now buzzes — for eyes-free use.
Note: this version now requires iOS 16 or later.
