Description

Close2Me turns your Google Maps saved places into smart proximity alerts. Simply share a list link from Google Maps, and Close2Me imports all your places automatically.

When you're out and about, enable monitoring and the app will notify you whenever you're approaching a saved place — whether it's that restaurant you bookmarked, a landmark on your travel list, or a shop you've been meaning to visit.

HOW IT WORKS

Open Google Maps and find your saved list
Tap the ••• menu and select "Share list"
Copy the link and paste it in Close2Me

Here's a "What's New" / "Novità in questa versione" text for version 1.1.3:

Refresh lists from Google Maps
Added a new refresh button in every imported list. Tap it to sync with your original Google Maps list — any new places you've added on Google Maps will appear in the app automatically. No need to re-import the entire list.

Share locations to any maps app
You can now share a place directly from the map view. Tap the share icon to send the location link to anyone, or tap the open button to navigate with your preferred app — Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze.

Open in your favorite navigator
When viewing a place on the map, a new "Open in..." menu lets you choose which maps app to launch. The app detects which navigation apps are installed and shows only the available ones.
