Description
DanceTok Live Recorder helps you capture live streams from TikTok, Twitch, and Kick — and get notified the moment your favorite creators go live.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add a creator
Enter a username or live URL. Choose the correct platform (TikTok, Twitch, or Kick). For adding usernames use this tiktok:username, twitch:username, kick:username (replace "username" with the real creator username without @)
2. Enable auto-record (Premium)
Turn on auto-record for any creator you want to capture automatically when they start streaming.
3. Get notified when they go live
When a watched creator goes live, you receive a push notification on your iPhone.
4. Recording starts
• Tap the notification — the app opens briefly and recording begins.
• Or long-press the notification and choose “Start recording” to begin without bringing the app to the foreground.
5. Find your recordings
Saved recordings appear in the app and can be saved to your photo library.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ FOR BEST RESULTS ON iOS
Apple limits what apps can do in the background. To get the most reliable experience:
Allow notifications
Push alerts are essential so you know when a creator goes live.
Do not swipe the app away in the app switcher
If you force-quit the app (swipe up to close it), automatic background recording may not work until you open the app again or tap a notification.
Keep the app in the background instead
When the app stays open in the background (not force-quit), iOS can wake it more reliably and recordings can start automatically.
Tap the notification when you see “[Creator] is live”
This is the most dependable way to start a recording, especially if the app was closed.
Use a stable Wi‑Fi or mobile connection
Live recording depends on a good network connection throughout the stream.
Add creators with the correct platform
Use the platform badge or prefix (e.g. twitch:username) so the app monitors the right channel.
Premium required for auto-record monitoring
Server-side live checks and push alerts for auto-recording are included with Premium.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• You are notified once when a creator goes live (not repeatedly during a long stream).
• Recordings can run for hours while the stream continues.
• The app does not record streams you are not authorized to record. You are responsible for complying with platform terms and local laws.
• Recordings are stored on your device. Optional cloud backup requires connecting Google Drive in Settings (Premium).
LANGUAGES
The app supports English, German, French, Turkish, Hindi, and Arabic. Push notification text follows your app language.
SUBSCRIPTION
Premium is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Privacy and support information is available in the app Settings.
