Almaty Libraries is the official app of the Centralized Library System of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Access library services
directly from your phone.

CATALOG & SEARCH
Search for books by title, author, or genre across the entire Almaty library network. Filter by genre, language, and
availability. View detailed book information with descriptions and covers.

ORDER BOOKS
Order books online and pick them up at a convenient branch. Track your order status in real time. Add books to your
favorites to come back to them later.

MY BOOKS
View your borrowed books with return dates. Renew your loans directly in the app. Keep track of all active orders in
one place.

DIGITAL LIBRARY CARD
Your library card is always with you. Show the barcode on your phone screen when visiting the library. Works with
self-service kiosks.

BRANCHES & MAP
Find the nearest libraries on the map. View addresses, working hours, and available self-service kiosks at each
branch.

NEWS & STORIES
Stay up to date with library events in Almaty. Read news and watch video stories about exhibitions, literary events,
and cultural activities.

NOTIFICATIONS
Receive reminders about book return dates, order status updates, and new events. Customize notification categories to
your preferences.

SUPPORT
Contact the support team through the built-in chat. Create tickets and track their status.

SECURITY
Protect access to the app with a PIN code or biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID). Your data is safe.

This update brings together the main reader-facing improvements since version 1.3.5.

- Add your reader ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Your ticket and scanner-friendly barcode are easier to open from Profile and Wallet.
- Sign-up and QR registration are clearer: password requirements are shown on the spot, and weak passwords are caught before submission.
- Book ordering now explains delivery terms more clearly, including paid courier delivery, free delivery for low-mobility readers, and a confirmation step before placing an order.
- Security is stronger on PIN, password, verification, and account screens; if suspicious sign-in activity is detected, the app asks you to log in again.
- News, stories, notifications, tickets, orders, and verification statuses now have clearer labels and translations across Kazakh, Russian, and English.
- Catalog, reader ticket, document upload, profile, support, and barcode screens are more stable and responsive.
