Description

You see a color. You have 5 seconds to remember it. Then it disappears.

Now recreate it from memory using three sliders — Hue, Saturation, and Brightness. Sounds easy? It's not.

Chromatic is a minimalist color memory game that exposes the uncomfortable truth: humans are terrible at remembering colors.

HOW TO PLAY
• A random color fills your screen for 5 seconds
• Memorize it — really look at it
• The color disappears and three HSB sliders appear
• Drag the sliders to recreate the color from memory
• Get scored on accuracy (0–10 per round, 50 max)
• Play 5 rounds per game

DAILY CHALLENGE
A fresh 5-color memory test every day. Same colors for everyone. Build a streak by playing every day — the chain forgives a 36-hour gap so you don't lose it on a busy night.

ENDLESS MODE
No round limit. Score 8.5 or higher to keep going. Watch a rewarded ad to revive (max 2 per run). Tracks your best separately from Classic.

GAME CENTER LEADERBOARD
See how you rank against players around the world on today's Daily Challenge. Top 1% bragging rights, or just where you sit globally.

SHARE YOUR RESULT
Every game ends with a Share button. Renders a card with the colors you saw, your guesses, and your score. Beat-my-score challenges in iMessage and stories.

DAILY REMINDERS
Opt in once and the app remembers when you usually play. Get a gentle nudge at that time tomorrow, plus a streak-at-risk warning if your chain is on the line.

HARD MODE PROGRESSION
Easy and Hard personal bests no longer overwrite each other. Each difficulty tracks separately on the home screen.

SMARTER SCORING
Switched to a perceptually-uniform color space so visually-close colors get the high score they deserve and visually-distant ones get appropriately punished. No more "but they look the same!" surprises in deep blues, and no more "way too generous" calls in yellow-greens.
