• Share short video clips alongside your photos, up to 30 seconds each.
Videos appear in your trip gallery and on itinerary day cards with a
play badge, and play full screen with sound. A Pro feature.
• Clips are shrunk on your phone before uploading, so they don't eat
your data or your storage. If a clip is longer than 30 seconds
Kintinery shortens it and tells you before you upload, so you can trim
it yourself first if you'd rather.
IMPROVED
• The Photos tab is now Media, since it holds both.
FIXED
• Live location sharing now tracks you for the whole share. It used to
post your position once when you started and then never update, so
anyone watching saw you frozen where you began.
• Sharing keeps working when the app isn't on screen. Locking your phone
or switching apps used to stop it silently.
• Long stops no longer end a share early. Sitting still through a meal
could stop updates for good.
• The map follows along. Even when new positions arrived, the marker
stayed put until you left the trip and came back.
• A share survives the app closing, and posts a fresh position as soon
as you reopen.
• Kintinery asks for precise location when you start a share, so your
companions see where you actually are rather than a rough area.
