Time in Focus

v1.4 38 Mo Universel 4+

Description

Focus you can finally see.

Most of the focus work you do leaves nothing behind. A clear hour at your desk looks the same from the outside as a scattered one. There's no record. Nothing to hold yourself to. And the same device most likely to pull you out of focus is the one in your pocket.

Time in Focus exists to give that work a shape.

A calm session. A clear intention. A Focus Receipt at the end — proof of the work you actually did. Over a week, those receipts add up to a quiet rhythm you can point at when you're wondering if you showed up.

— What's inside —

- Calm sessions in 10, 25, or 45 minutes — pick what feels right for the moment.
- An intention prompt before you start. One sentence. What are you working on?
- A Focus Receipt at the end of every session. Quietly stored. Yours to keep.
- A Continuity Calendar that shows the rhythm you've built — without streak punishment.
- Small in-app moments when you want them. A Calm Reset week. A Back-to-School sprint. Always opt-in.
- Privacy that's actually private. Sessions stay on your device.

— Who it's for —

People who want to focus better without leaning on stimulation, urgency, or hype. Students who'd rather build a system than cram. Professionals whose mornings disappear into meetings. Anyone whose phone has become part of the noise.

If you've tried hard timers and felt punished, or gamified apps and felt patronized, this one is calmer.

— What it isn't —

Time in Focus is a habit and structure tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care of any kind. If you have health questions, please speak with a qualified professional.

— A note on receipts —

Most apps measure activity. Time in Focus measures something quieter — that you sat down, set an intention, and did the work. The receipts aren't trophies. They're evidence. Yours, for the days you wonder whether you showed up.

— Plans —

Standard TIF is free, forever. Two sessions a day, basic Focus Receipts.
Plus unlocks unlimited sessions, the Continuity Calendar, and shareable receipts — with a 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime in your App Store settings.

— Privacy —

Your sessions stay on your device by default. We do not sell your data. We do not sell ads inside the app.

Nouveautés (v1.4)

Time in Focus v1.4

This update is for the people who've been here. Here's what's changed since you last opened TIF.

— New —

Focus Shield. You can now name the apps that pull you out of focus, and TIF will hold them closed for the length of a session. You pick the apps. iOS enforces the hold. Nothing leaves your device. Open Profile → Focus Shield to set it up. Tap the ⓘ next to the title for the full privacy disclosure.

Apple Watch. Start a focus session from your wrist. The watch tracks your time and stays in sync with the iPhone. The phone can stay in your bag.

New focus visuals. Three new ambient backgrounds for the timer — Flowing Water, Dry to Water, and Bubble Glass. Calm motion, not stimulation. Pick yours in Profile → Focus Visual.

Continuity Calendar, two ways. Switch between a daily grid and a weekly view at the top of the calendar. A new Day-of-Week panel shows which days you actually focus on, across the last 90 days. Diagnostic, not gamified.

Live Activity, quieter. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island session view runs smoother, holds the celebration state for a moment, and clears cleanly when the session ends.

— Refined —

Settings are reorganized. Timer Duration sits at the top now — it's the first thing you reach for. The visual-identity stack (Theme, Accent, Focus Visual, Focus Shield) is grouped together below.

Achievements remember why. The threshold that earned each badge — "100 sessions," "500 sessions" — stays visible next to the earned date. The receipt for the receipt.

— Privacy —

The Focus Shield uses Apple's Family Activity framework. Your selection of apps lives in iOS's on-device ManagedSettings container; we never see it. Tap the ⓘ on the Focus Shield row in Settings for the in-depth disclosure.

— Thanks —

To the people who've been with us through 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 — thank you. Quiet work, with receipts.
