FestMates: Festival Companion

FestMates is a festival companion built for people who actually go to festivals. Browse the lineup, build a personal day plan, set reminders, find your tent on the map, and share everything with the friends you came with. Works offline once you've loaded a festival, so it keeps working when the festival site doesn't.

LINEUP & TIMETABLE
See the full lineup with stage and time, grouped by day. Switch between by-time and by-stage views. Day headers stay visible as you scroll, and the navigation bar shows which day you're looking at. Times render in your device timezone with a clear hint when you're in a different timezone from the festival.

YOUR DAY PLAN
Tap the star on any set to add it to your day. Open My Plan to see only the events you saved, grouped by festival day. Overlapping sets get an informational badge ("overlaps 45m with Band X") so you can pick which one to catch and which to leave halfway. A live "Next up" card surfaces the soonest set you saved while you're at the festival.

REMINDERS
Set a per-event reminder bell on any set in your plan. Pick your lead time once (5, 10, 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes before) and every reminder follows it. Reminders work even when you have no signal at the festival site.

MAP
A real interactive map with custom stage pins and your live location. Stage pins pulse and show what's currently playing. When the live act is on your day plan, the pin and label switch to a stronger highlight so you don't miss it. Tap any pin for a card with the schedule for that stage.

DROP YOUR OWN PINS
Drop a pin where your tent is. Drop pins for the meeting point, the food truck you liked, the spot where you parked. Customise the icon. Share one pin or several at once with friends via a share link. They tap, the pins land on their map.

DISCOVER FESTIVALS
A world map of every festival in the app. Tap a pin to see banner, dates, stage count, and a preview of the festival map. Filter by upcoming, past, or the ones you marked as going.

SHARE YOUR PLAN
Send your day plan to a friend with a single share link. They open the link, see the same lineup with your picks highlighted, and merge it into their own plan with one tap. No account needed on either side.

NOTES
Jot down a note on any event: the song you just heard, who you came with, where to meet up after. Notes stay with the event and are also collected on a dedicated Notes screen so you can find them later.

OFFLINE-READY
When you say you're going to a festival, the app quietly downloads the full lineup, banner images, FAQ, and event artwork in the background. Once that's done, browsing, opening events, and using the map all work without a connection. Festival sites have terrible reception. The app plans for that.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The current version has no account, no sign-up, and no ads. Saved festivals, day plans, pins, and notes are stored on your phone. We collect anonymous error and usage data to make the app more reliable, with no advertising identifier and nothing tied to you.
