New Practice Hub & Lessons
- Added a brand-new Practice Hub with modernized lesson, unit, and card layouts. The grid now auto-arranges itself based on screen size.
- IPA Practice module: a guided walkthrough of phonemes with unit-by-unit progression. Long-vowel symbols in unit data have been corrected throughout.
- Repeat After Me: new dedicated practice screen with audio playback, sentence navigation, premium topic locking, and improved playback-state handling.
- Flash Cards: cards now shuffle on each session, manual playback-rate controls were removed (the app picks the best rate automatically), sentence timers now pause cleanly while audio is buffering, and per-word translations are surfaced

- Flash Cards now require login — first-time users are prompted to sign in before they can practice.
Vocabulary Learning
- Session-based vocab flow: pick a topic, get a focused session, and keep your in-progress picks across navigation thanks to temporary persistence.
- Word Card now displays the part of speech (noun, verb, adjective, etc.) as a chip above the translation, alongside the existing IPA and audio button.
- Learning Backlog Gate: if you have too many words still pending practice, the app now blocks you from piling more on until you clear (or remove) the backlog. Smaller sessions below the minimum size are exempt so you don't get stuck.
- Vocabulary lists for Business, IELTS, TOEIC, and Travel topics were expanded and reshuffled for better variety.
Short Stories
- New Short Story browsing and reading screens, with API integration and test coverage.
- View counts are now shown on the story list so you can see what's popular.
