Description

Snag is a music identification app that catches every song and saves the audio clip. Even when recognition fails or you are offline, you never lose a song.

Tap to record. Snag listens and tries to identify the music using Apple’s ShazamKit. Whether it succeeds, fails, or you have no signal, the recording stays on your device. You can replay it and retry identification later when you are back online.

Nouveautés (v2026.5)

Background Snagging: Start listening from Control Center, the Lock Screen, or the Action Button without opening the app. Snag listens for up to 30 seconds in the background and shows a Live Activity with real-time status. Once it identifies a song, tap it to open the app and quickly share. You can also choose to have the Control open the app each time instead of listening in the background in the Settings tab.
