Description
Day Sheets is the daily itinerary your tour manager already sends you — now in an app, on your phone, ready when you wake up.
A "day sheet" is the document that runs a tour day: lobby call, soundcheck, doors, set time, bus call, hotel, flights. Day Sheets puts today's schedule on the home screen, with venue info, weather, contacts, and travel logistics already attached. Tap an event for the full detail. Swipe to tomorrow.
Built for the people on tour:
- Artists who want a clean read of the day, no clutter.
- Tour managers who need everyone on the same page without sending a PDF every morning.
- Crew, family, and team who only want to see the sheets that apply to them.
What the iOS app does:
- Today view with the next event always at the top.
- Full day sheets with the schedule, location, weather, and venue notes.
- Travel: flights, hotels, ground transport, car services, trains — with maps and confirmation details.
- Approvals: review and decide on items the artist's team needs signed off, with photo, voice note, or comment attachments.
- Reactions and pings on events so the team can confirm they've seen what's next.
- Multi-artist support: managers handling more than one act can switch between artists; crew and family see only what they're on.
- Face ID lock to keep tour details private when your phone is open on a counter.
- Push notifications for changes to today's plan.
The iOS app is read-first by design. Editing day sheets, building events, and distribution still happen on the Day Sheets web app — this app is what you carry through the day. Bring up tomorrow's lobby call from your pocket without scrolling through email.
Your account, your artist's account, and your team's privacy are linked through invite-based access. No public listings, no social graph, no ads, no tracking.
Coming soon: device contacts and Spotlight search, broader iPad layouts, and offline support for the day's sheet.
Nouveautés (v1.0.1)
New in this build:
• Drive-time hints on Today
Between consecutive events with addresses, you'll see a small
"22 min · leave by 9:38 AM" row. Color goes orange when the
buffer is tight, red when the gap is unreachable.
• "From your location" banner at the top of Today
Once per session you'll be asked to allow location access. If you
allow, a banner appears above the first event card with the drive
time + leave-by time from where you are right now to your next
event with an address.
• Auto-bio on event detail
Tap an event whose title references a person ("Zoom with [Name],
[outlet]", "Meeting with [Name]", etc.) — there's now a purple
"PERSON" card with a BIO button that researches the person via
web search and shows role, recent work, and topics covered.
What to try:
1. Open today's day sheet — confirm the location prompt appears,
then check the banner shows your drive time to the next event.
2. Walk through a day with multiple stops — drive-time hints
should appear between consecutive events with addresses.
3. Open an event titled "Zoom with [a real journalist or contact]"
and tap BIO. First lookup takes ~5-15 seconds; subsequent opens
are instant.
Known caveats:
• If you decline the location prompt, the top banner stays hidden
forever — re-enable in iOS Settings → Day Sheets → Location.
• Bio lookup is in beta — let me know if it returns wrong matches.
