Quadrop

QUADROP is a deceptively simple strategy game built on two unusual rules.
THE GAME
On a 13×13 board, players take turns dropping black and white pieces. First to line up FIVE in a row — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — wins.
THE GRAVITY
Pieces don't land just anywhere. Each move must be linked to a side of the board by an unbroken line of pieces along its row or column. It's like four-sided gravity pulling stones in from every edge. Openings are constrained, the midgame is sharp, and every move shifts what's reachable next.
THE TIEBREAK
If the board fills without anyone making five in a row, the winner is whoever has more four-in-a-rows on the board. Equal counts is a true draw. The rule changes everything: even when no five is possible, every position is still being played for.
