Description
Two takes. One tap.
Modern iPhones have three cameras, yet every video app makes you pick one orientation. Croply removes that choice. With one tap, it records a vertical 9:16 file for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts AND a cinematic 16:9 landscape file for YouTube — at the same moment, from the same scene.
Built entirely in SwiftUI and AVFoundation’s multi-camera engine, Croply is a one-thumb camera with the craft of a pro tool.
THREE WAYS TO SHOOT
• Video — Dual orientation. Wide lens captures portrait, ultra-wide captures cinematic landscape. Two files, ready to share.
• Photo — Dual still capture, same dual-output simplicity. Minimal taps, maximum framing.
• Selfie — Front camera composited into the rear 9:16 frame as a WYSIWYG picture-in-picture. Round, square, or 3:4. Drag to any corner.
CRAFT IN THE DETAILS
• External mic & Bluetooth input detected automatically, with a live waveform meter
• Recording survives interruptions — calls, Siri, Control Center — and resumes without a black frame
• HEVC, ProRes, HDR support on capable devices
• Flat settings, not nested pickers. The Pro controls are one tap away
• Hand-localized in eight languages: English, Simplified & Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese
ONE-TIME PRO UNLOCK
A single in-app purchase unlocks circle / square PIP shapes, pro audio routing, large PIP size, 4K and 60 fps tiers, ProRes, and HDR. No subscriptions. No ads. Yours forever.
REQUIREMENTS
Dual recording requires iPhone 11 or later (Apple’s multi-camera API). Single-camera modes work on earlier devices.
For creators who film for two platforms in one take, for educators who teach to two angles, for vloggers who can’t reshoot the moment — Croply turns your iPhone into the dual-camera rig it always could have been.
Made by one developer, in Stockholm-quiet code.
Nouveautés (v1.2.2)
What's new:
• Pro-grade audio — Croply now natively supports external microphones including DJI Mic, Rode Wireless, and Bluetooth audio devices. The top bar shows the active input and live levels, so you always know exactly what's being recorded.
• Two new languages: Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, hand-translated.
Thanks for filming with Croply.
