Description
TraceLogic - Enterprise OTDR diagnostics for fibre splicing teams
TraceLogic is an enterprise platform built for splicing contractors and fibre optic engineering organisations. Field engineers diagnose OTDR traces, run bi-directional splice analysis, and document fibre health offshore, underground, and on remote sites with no connectivity.
For organisations only - TraceLogic is sold as a team/organisation subscription to splicing companies, contracting firms, and sole-trader splicers operating as a registered business. Individual engineers do not subscribe directly. Your organisation's administrator provisions your account through TraceLogic's administrative web dashboard, and you sign in to the iOS app using credentials issued by your team.
The iOS app does not offer any in-app purchase, subscription registration, or upgrade. All licencing, billing, and team management happen on TraceLogic's enterprise web dashboard, accessed by your organisation's administrator in a desktop browser at tracelogicpro.co.uk/dashboard.
WHAT FIELD ENGINEERS DO IN THE APP
— Open and analyse Bellcore/Telcordia .sor OTDR trace files (offline-first)
— Run bi-directional splice loss diagnostics with EXFO-parity event detection
— Smart flag analysis: high splice loss, attenuation, reflectance, ghost events, dead fibre, low margin
— Document fault scenarios using a guided 162-node decision tree across 30+ field-tested scenarios
— Generate field reports and sync to your organisation's dashboard when online
— Reference library and training content for ongoing competency development
— Bi-directional calculator with configurable thresholds (matched per organisation)
DESIGNED FOR FIELD CONDITIONS
Built for offshore platforms, underground installations, remote sites, data centres - anywhere your team works without reliable connectivity. SQLite on device is the source of truth for all diagnostic work; cloud sync is an enhancement, not a dependency. All core features work 100 percent offline including diagnostics, OTDR parsing, calculators, reference library, and training modules.

Nouveautés (v1.2.2)
Calculator inputs now accept both comma and dot as the decimal separator (e.g. 1,5 km or 1.5 km).
Bi-directional trace upload streamlined into a single uploader that auto-pairs A→B and B→A traces by direction and wavelength.
Corrected a quiz answer in the subsea-to-topside splice scenario.
Stability and small UI improvements.
