Your notes stay on your device by default. Voice recordings never leave your phone — transcription runs locally. Sympnote does not sell your data, does not show ads, is not linked to your identity, and does not require an account.

When you generate a brief, your note text is sent to Google Gemini and OpenAI as data processors to organize it. Both process the data only to fulfill your request, do not train their models on it, and do not retain it beyond what their API terms allow. Your name, audio, and the names of clinicians on your care team are never sent. Nothing happens until you tap "I agree" on the in-app consent screen.

Sympnote uses AI to organize what you tell it. Briefs are summaries of your own words, not medical advice or diagnoses. Always confirm with a qualified clinician before making decisions about your health. AI can occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete summaries — review any brief before sharing it.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription auto-renews at the same price and duration unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
