Forensic Mode — Anti-Theft Evidence Chain

The only mobile tool that creates a tamper-evident 3-scan evidence chain:
① Scan the empty hold before loading — establishes your timestamped baseline
② Scan after loading — records the exact loaded cargo volume
③ Scan before unloading — automatically detects any missing cargo

The system flags suspected theft when missing volume exceeds 2 m³ AND represents more than 2% of the loaded cargo — a dual-threshold algorithm that eliminates false alarms from measurement noise, while reliably catching real shortages.

Estimation Mode — Quick Volume Measurement

No multi-step workflow needed. Scan any cargo pile or stacked goods and get the volume in under 2 minutes. Add an optional space baseline for differential measurement — ideal for bulk cargo like grain, coal, or ore, and for fast warehouse audits.

Differential Mode — Track Volume Changes

Scan once, come back later, scan again. CargoVolume precisely calculates the volume change between any two scans — whether an increase or decrease — perfect for monitoring consumption, production output, or periodic inventory checks.
