Description
A new logic puzzle every day on a hexagonal grid. Fit every tile so every line — sum, product, parity, range — tells the truth. A five-minute daily ritual that scales to expert-level satisfaction.
Hexponents is a deduction puzzle. Each line of the hex board carries a constraint: the sum equals 14, every tile must be even, no negatives, the product is exactly –24. You're given a bag of numbered tiles. Place every tile so every constraint holds. There's exactly one solution. No guessing — just careful reasoning.
WHAT'S IN THE GAME
— Four difficulty tiers, from a five-minute Easy warm-up to Expert puzzles built for solvers who finish the hardest crosswords in under ten.
— A new puzzle in every difficulty, every day, at midnight Eastern.
— Ten constraint types: sums, products, ≥, ≤, all-even, all-odd, no-negatives, all-negatives, n-negatives, and contains-set. Cells can also carry restrictions (even-only, prime-only, positive-only) and tile modifiers (multiply by 3, add 5).
— Three free hints to start. If you get stuck, Reveal places one correct tile. More hints available as a 25-pack for $0.99.
— A daily leaderboard with a Friends filter. Beat your friends, not strangers.
— 50 badges to chase, from speed badges (sub-30s Easy, sub-10min Expert) to the All-Rounder (every difficulty in a single day) and The Completionist (every puzzle since launch).
— Built-in tutorial that teaches every mechanic without lecturing.
PREMIUM
Hexponents is free to play. One daily puzzle in every difficulty is available to everyone, forever. Premium unlocks:
— The full archive — every daily puzzle since launch, replayable any time.
— Offline downloader — pull a week's worth of puzzles for the train.
— Custom puzzle designer — build your own hex puzzles and publish them for the community to play and rate.
Premium is $1.99/month or $19.99/year. Subscription auto-renews unless cancelled in App Store settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
CUSTOM MAPS
Premium designers can build custom puzzles in the in-app designer. Every published puzzle is solver-verified before it ships — if it's broken, it can't be published. Share via a link that opens directly in the app for everyone, even non-premium players. Browse the community feed, upvote your favorites, and follow the designers who build the puzzles you love.

Nouveautés (v1.1)
Hexponents 1.1 — Polish + new ways to compare
Daily streaks now count days you've played, not puzzles you've solved. Like Duolingo, just opening the app on consecutive days keeps your streak alive — no need to finish every difficulty.
Compare more, scroll less
• Today's leaderboard now lets you flip between Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert without closing — tap any difficulty pill inside the leaderboard sheet.
• Friends-only tab: if you follow other players, switch between the global top 25 and your circle with one tap.
Smarter focus mode
Tap any cell or pin a constraint pill and the tile bag automatically dims candidates that can't legally land there. We also handle numeric line constraints (Σ, ×, ≥, ≤, exactly-N negatives) with a quick "what if I placed this tile?" check, so the hints follow you even when the lines are math-driven.
Layout rebuilt for big and small screens
• iPad layout now mirrors the web's centered top-down flow at every orientation — no more squished wordmark or overflowing sidebar on landscape.
• iPhone header gets a cleaner status row: Lines passing, Tiles placed, and your timer all live above the board so you don't have to scroll mid-puzzle.
• The Reveal button keeps its size whether the timer reads 0:00 or 9:99 — no more squishing on long sessions.
Fixes
• The "See today's leaderboard" button on the win screen opens instantly now — no awkward wait or extra tap.
• Switching difficulties mid-celebration no longer leaves the screen looking dark.
• Winning an archived puzzle no longer overwrites today's saved board.
• Apple Sign In surfaces clearer error messages when something goes wrong.
• Tutorial cues land on every interactive step, so first-time players always see where a tile should go.
Under the hood
Modernized for the latest Swift concurrency rules, faster app launch on older iPhones, and a fresh round of crash fixes from the launch week.
Thanks for playing — a new hex puzzle drops every day at midnight Eastern.
