Description
FlagStat is a flag-football tracking app for recreational leagues. It replaces pen-and-paper scorekeeping with a simple, ref-driven game tracker that everyone in the league can follow.
This is the V1.1 pilot build — you're testing an early version with our league. Focus your feedback on what felt natural and what felt clunky during a live game.
What you can do
• Run a live game. Refs use a single iPhone or iPad to track plays, scores, the play clock, and timeouts in real time.
• Manage your league. Create a league, invite members with an 8-character access code, set up rosters and schedules. Commissioners can assign players to teams from the team page; players can also pick their own team after joining.
• Three roles. Players follow their team's stats; Coaches manage one team's roster; Referees run live games. The role you pick at sign-up determines what you can do across the leagues you join.
• House rules + Ask the Ref. Commissioners write league-specific rules (mercy rule, equipment, timing, sportsmanship, custom). Refs see them alongside the standard rulebook during a game, so close calls don't slow things down.
• Offline-first for refs. Keep tracking even when wifi at the field is spotty; everything syncs when you're back online.
• See the season. Schedule, standings, top passers/receivers/rushers/defense, and recent box scores all live in the League tab.
What's coming after the pilot
• Sideline video review and per-game video review (cut from V1 to keep this build focused).
• Highlight reels and per-player video exports.
• League brackets and playoff scheduling.
• Live spectator mode (players across the league can follow the ongoing games in real time without the ref's device).

Nouveautés (v1.1)
What's New in This Version
• League collaboration: invite teammates, share rosters and standings across devices, and promote co-commissioners to share admin work.
• Multi-role memberships: one person can be both a coach and a ref — perfect for small leagues where folks wear multiple hats.
• House Rules editor: define your league's custom rules and have the Ref Assistant cite them alongside the official rulebook.
• Smarter Ref Assistant: now understands plain-English questions like "is jersey-tucking required?" and refuses to make things up when no rule matches.
• Cleanup tools: delete leagues or teams you don't need anymore, plus dozens of polish + reliability improvements.
Note: The Ref Assistant requires Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, M-series iPad).
