day9 coffee

Description

Most coffee bags tell you the roast date. None of them tell you when the coffee actually tastes best.
day9 is built around one idea: coffee has a freshness curve. It's too gassy in the first few days after roast, hits peak flavor around days 7–14 depending on the bean, then slowly declines. Roasters know this. Baristas know this. Most coffee drinkers don't — because nobody's ever made it easy to track.
day9 fixes that.
ADD A BAG
Snap a photo of the label or enter the details manually. day9 reads the roast date, origin, and roaster, then maps out where your bag sits on the freshness curve right now and when it'll hit peak.
KNOW WHEN TO BREW
Get a clear signal: "too fresh," "approaching peak," "at peak," "declining." No more wondering whether yesterday's pour was off because of the grind or because the bag is past it.
LOG BREWS, NOT JUST BAGS
Tap to log a brew. Notice patterns: which bags taste best on which days, which roasters consistently hit your sweet spot, which origins fade fast. Your own taste history, built over time.
DISCOVER ROASTERS
Browse a curated directory of specialty roasters from around the world. Find new bags from operations you trust. Read why each roaster matters.
WHY DAY 9?
Because for most specialty coffees, that's roughly when the gas has settled, the flavors have rounded, and the bag is genuinely ready. It's a name, not a rule — every coffee is different, and day9 tracks yours specifically.
