What's New in This Version
- More reliable sign-in. Fixed a rare loop that could cause the contractor dashboard to repeatedly reload right after signing in. Sessions now settle cleanly on first load.
- Stronger privacy protections. Hardened how personal info (phone, email, location, emergency contacts) is shared across the app.
- Workers and contractors only see each other's full details after a mutual match or active job connection.
- Safer messaging.
- Pre-match conversations are now capped at 5 messages per side to reduce spam and unwanted contact before both parties opt in.
- Emergency contacts moved to a dedicated, owner-only space for better protection. Only you can view or edit your own emergency contact info.
- Tighter account security. Phone verification codes are now hashed and rate-limited (5-attempt lockout) to defend against guessing attacks.
- Calendar sync improvements. Each user now has a unique private calendar feed token, so subscribed calendars can't be accessed by guessing a user ID.
- More accurate worker pay visibility. Workers control whether their minimum hourly rate is shown publicly; the rate is no longer exposed by default.
- Public contractor profiles now show only the city-level area (approx. 11 km grid) instead of exact coordinates.
- Backend hardening. Server-only functions (push notifications, SMS, translations, referrals) now require proper authentication and can't be triggered anonymously.
